Orbit Metrics, Inc. ("Orbit Metrics," "we," "us," or "our") operates Orbit Scorecard (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password.
Business Data. To power your scorecards, we access data from third-party integrations you authorize (e.g., Stripe, HubSpot, Google Analytics). We access only the data necessary to compute the metrics you configure. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with third parties.
Usage Data. We collect information about how you use the Service, including log data, IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken within the app.
Payment Information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number or CVV. We retain billing records as required by law.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- To sync your authorized integrations and compute your metrics
- To send transactional emails (alerts, reports, account notices)
- To respond to support requests
- To comply with legal obligations
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information or business data. We share data only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the platform (cloud infrastructure, email delivery, payment processing), under strict confidentiality agreements
- Legal authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights
- Business transfers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data and business metrics for as long as your account is active, plus 90 days after cancellation to allow for reactivation. After that, data is permanently deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time — see our Data Deletion policy.
5. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), encryption at rest, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We will notify you promptly if a breach affects your data.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at team@orbitscorecard.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember preferences, and analyze usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect Service functionality.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice in the app at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
